Baby Shower Banner / Pocket Letter

Chipboard project or technique

I ordered these Chipboard (Baby Circle Set 6 pcs) sku CBDC218 from Infinity Engraving. I wanted to make a banner for a friends baby shower. I had a pocket letter that I was going to a make and thought that I could use one on that also.  I knew that I would eventually use the rest of them in future projects. I am not going to tell you how I put the pocket Letter together in this Blog. But I wanted to show you how I used one of the chipboards. The nice thing about chipboard is you can use them in anything you could think of. Chipboard can replace the paper you would use in a project and it will look really good, or even better.

Supplies needed to complete Banner project
 1. Glue   2. Mod Podge 3. scissors
4. Two colors of Glitter 5. Paint
6. Paint brush 7. Clothes Pins
8. Papers for the banners
9. Chip board  10. Paper cutter
11. Banner Cutter 12. 3D foam
13.  Images from Google 14. Ribbon

The first thing that you will do is paint all of the chip board pieces. When  it has dried f
or 2 hrs or so, you will then brush 3 coat of Mod Podge over them all, letting each coat dry for 1/2 hour between each coat. Set them aside and let dry while you do the next part.

Brush mod podge on the top of cloths pins dip in the glitter. You will need to do that to both sides of the cloths pins. Do three coats, letting each coat dry between.

I cut the letter with my Cricut. I did a two layered look.

Glued them together, and turned over to the back and put the 3D foam on back. I cut my letters at 4 inches.

I then cut the paper into banner shapes using my Banner cutter. (We are memories) You can do any size you want I did mine 5 inches. You will then put the letters on the banner, and glue the 2 chipboard pieces to the end of the banner.

Cut your ribbon to the size you want. Take the clothesPins and attach the banner pieces to the ribbon. Make a bow on the end of both side. And ya you have  a baby Shower Banner. She loved it and could not believe that I made this for her.
Thank you for reading my blog. If  you would like to purchase any chipwood from Infinity Engraving this is the web address.

Mad Hatter Shaker Keychain

Mad Hatter Shaker Keychain

Infinity Engraving Project

This was a fun project to make. I love making shaker cards. I make a lot of different kinds of shaker cards. So at first I thought this would be a really nice shaker card, but then I got to thinking that maybe a keychain would be better. Something that would be different, I do love making jewelry.

This is what you would buy from Infinity Engraving.

This is the things you will need to make this project.
1. A drill of some kind  2. Pliers
3. Paint  4. Paint brush  5. wire
6. Keychain findings
7. paper  8. pin  9. glue
 11. beads three different colors

Drill a hole in the upper left corner.

Glue each layer together, all but the clear piece and the top layer.

Paint the inside of the circle white so that the beads will show up. Let it dry

Paint the top piece and the back of the bottom piece.

Put the beads in the circle and glue the plastic piece on top, and glue the last piece of chipboard that you pained on the very top.

You will then wright the 10/6 on the white paper and glue it on and add the keychain finding to finish it up, I really enjoyed doing this project. If you would like to make one just head on over to the infinity Engraving website and get your pieces to make it. Here is the link

Steam Punk Altered CD

Chipboard project or technique

I had the swap that I joined and it was alter a CD  in steampunk. So Infinity sales these wonderful gears, I knew what I was going to do.

I gathered up all my supplies. This is what you will need to complete the project.
1. CD  2. Paper of your choice   3. stamps from heartfelt creations
4. brown ink  5. inked lace  6. buttons, 7. key
8. cloths pins inked  9. model paint in silver, gold, and copper
10. metal mesh  11. sizzors
11. chipboard gears from infinity engraving

Start by painting all of the chipboard pieces.  Fussy cut out the stamped images.
You will need two clocks and two globes.  Put 3D foam between the images so the will look 3D.

Trace the back of the Cd then cut paper and glue to CD on both sides. I used hot glue to glue everything down. I started with the big gears glued them down on the bottom and continued to layer each thing on the Cd

This is how it turned out. It was a lot of fun making it. The nice thing about steam is that there is no wrong way to do it. Just as long as it looks old, distressed or used it will  work. The think that made this such a wonderful project is the Infinity Engraving sales the gears and you can paint them the colors that you want. This is the web sight so you can go buy some gears.

 St Patrick's Day Card

Project using printable image

This is a card I made with the printable image the was given to us to make something out of it. I love making cards for everything. When I saw this image I fell in love with it. Infinity Engraving put the image up as the challenge image. We were to put a button and some lace in it.

I first printed my images then chose the paper that I liked. I think the hardest part of card making is picking your paper.

I then gathered my supplies. This is what you will need to complete your card.
1.Printer image   2. Three different kinds of paper
3. glue  4. paper cutter  5. glue
6. ink pad and ink dober  7. sizzors
8. stickles  9. button  10. lace

Cut you paper to the size of the card you want it to be. I did a 5" by a 6 and a 1/2 " card. I then cut my first layer 1/8 'smaller than the card base,  the next layer 1/8 "small the that layer . I than inked the sides of the image.

I glued down each piece of paper and added the clover stickers to the side. I than put stickles on all the clovers so they would be sparkly.

I added the lace to the side, put a cute green bow on her head, and added the button at the bottom.

I opened the card and put a few stickers to decorate the inside of the card. This was a easy and fun card to make. Infinity Engraving finds the best images to make cards with.

Thank you for taking the time to see what I made and I hope you will try it for yourself.
